Wedding DJ Berry

Berry is a very particular kind of South Coast wedding. Boutique, artisan, with a crowd that's usually one part Sydney, one part local farm community, and one part couple-friends who've driven up from Canberra. The venues reflect that — Jaspers Berry, The Homestead in Berry, Melross Farm, and the broader Shoalhaven farmhouse scene. Small rooms, big intentions, and a preference for a polished DJ set over a full nightclub rig. We've been playing Berry weddings since the town stopped being a day-trip stop and started being a serious wedding destination. The practical bit: Jaspers' main room is tight, so speaker placement is everything. The Homestead is more flexible but the ceiling height dictates what kind of lighting reads well on camera. Melross has a farm setting that loves discreet kit — you don't want a DJ booth the size of a bar here. You want the setup to disappear and the music to carry the room. Berry is a two-hour drive from Sydney. We stay overnight for every Berry wedding, which means no late-night packdown panic, no rushed farewells, and a cleaner run-sheet across the board.
