I've played Eleven Eighty, a heritage-listed DIY venue on Bolong Road at Coolangatta, about ten minutes from Berry. It's approved for events of up to 80 guests.
It's quirky in the best way, with a vintage train carriage in the garden. It's inside our free travel zone too.

Planning your DJ setup at Eleven Eighty
Most of the party happens in the 400 square metre courtyard under a 9m x 9m clear-roof marquee, and the venue describes the courtyard as having strong acoustic capability.
A site manager is on hand on the day to keep the noise rules in check. I'll check in with them on levels and stay on the right side of the line.
If it rains, the Old School Hall seats up to 50, the Barn suits up to 20, and the marquee covers up to 80 seated. Wherever the day ends up, I'll set up there.
