We're based in Kiama Downs, and travel is free for venues between Stanwell Tops and Nowra, which takes in Wollongong.
Dan has been behind the decks for over 25 years and playing weddings since 2010.
Wedding DJ packages are $1,500 inc GST for five hours, or $1,800 with Dan Searle guaranteed. MC is an optional $300 add-on.
A real Wollongong wedding: Mandy & Marcus at Headlands Hotel
Mandy and Marcus married at Headlands Hotel in Austinmer on 19 December 2025. They knew the music they loved, and the crowd was ready to get amongst it. The brief was a '90s and '00s Eurodance dancefloor: plenty of energy, plenty of nostalgia, and a night that felt like them.

Dan emailed Mandy and Marcus after the wedding and told them their crowd was incredible, and that he could have kept playing for hours. Eurodance, big singalongs or a mix from every decade: we work through the music with you before the day.

Four Wollongong-area venues already have a guide on this site. Headlands Hotel is in Austinmer, which is where Mandy and Marcus held their reception. Tumbling Waters, Ravensthorpe Estate and Woolshed Yallah are the other three.
Ravensthorpe Estate is where William and Mikayla married on 4 November 2022. Their first dance used Dancing on a Cloud and Sparkulars, and the photos from that night are by KJ Images.

Your music, mixed live
A Wollongong couple does not need a five-hour playlist finished months out. Our Set comes with the wedding package. Must-plays, do-not-plays and the timeline live there, so we are not hunting through emails the week of the wedding.
A first dance, a parent dance, and the songs that would make the night if they turned up: that is a useful list. Five hours of titles is not required. You tell us the songs that have to happen. We build the rest around the people who showed up.
On the night the mixing follows the room. Dinner can run long. A speech can start late. The floor can fill before the run sheet says it should. We change the volume and the song to what is actually happening, from dinner through to the last track. The mix below is Dan mixing live, so you can hear the style. It is an example, not a list we copy onto your night.

Gold is $1,500 inc GST for five hours. Signature is $1,800 and guarantees Dan Searle as your DJ once the date is booked. Adding MC takes those to $1,800 and $2,100. Sound, dancefloor lighting and a wireless mic are in both. Travel is free between Stanwell Tops and Nowra.

The MC add-on is the same $300 on Gold or Signature. It covers welcomes, the bridal party entrance, the speeches and the call onto the dancefloor. Ceremony music, the Social Booth and effects such as Dancing on a Cloud sit on a separate line of the same quote.
Booking your Wollongong wedding DJ
- Send your date and venue, plus a rough guest count if you have it.
- We check availability and confirm the package, including travel if the venue sits outside Stanwell Tops to Nowra.
- A $300 deposit secures the date. Full payment is due 7 days before the wedding.
After the deposit, Our Set and a catch-up before the wedding lock the moments: ceremony songs if you have booked them, speeches, the first dance, and anything the MC needs to say. You can call or message in the lead-up. Ceremony music, if you add it, is planned on the same quote as the reception, and we confirm that setup with you before the day.

How much is a wedding DJ in Wollongong?
Our Gold wedding DJ package is $1,500 inc GST and Signature, with Dan Searle guaranteed as your DJ, is $1,800 inc GST. Both cover five hours with sound, dancefloor lighting, a wireless mic, setup, packdown and the Our Set planning app.
Do you charge travel for Wollongong weddings?
No. Travel is free for venues between Stanwell Tops and Nowra, which takes in Wollongong. Outside that area it's $50 per hour travelled, confirmed with your quote.

We're based in Kiama Downs in the Illawarra, and Wollongong is inside our free-travel area.

Yes. The Signature package guarantees Dan Searle as your DJ once booked. We check his availability for your date first.
Can you do our ceremony music and a photobooth too?
Yes. Ceremony music is $450 for up to 3 hours, and the Social Booth is $250 when you book it with a DJ package.
How do we lock in our date?
Send us your date and venue. Once availability and your package are confirmed, a $300 deposit secures the date, and full payment is due seven days before the wedding.
